CorkscrewFPV
An engineer by trade, I’ve always been hooked on anything radio controlled. I flew RC planes for about 15 years before camera drones took over my free time during Covid. In 2022 I built my first FPV drone and I’ve been flying, fixing and laughing at my own crashes ever since. When I’m not crushing grapes, I’m usually smashing quads! If there is a bando nearby, I've probably already scoped out the flightlines! Seriously, though.....What I love most isn’t just the flying, it’s the people. I've met so many great people from our weekly meetups or just hanging talking shop. All these amazing pilots prove that FPV isn’t just a hobby, it’s an community.
RupesF
Hi! I’m Rupert aka Rupes aka RupesFPV. Really original pilot name there! Like many in FPV, my addiction started when DJI brought out the FPV drone… I was hooked instantly! I quickly outgrew the Potato and started building to get better durability of my quads and keep the cost of fixing them down.. FPV is awesome – the thrill of flight, the community - including all the folk I’ve met along the way… It’s the perfect way to destress after a long day or week at work. I love pushing myself to become a better pilot – and there’s always something new to learn and take a deep dive into… Which defo appeals to my geekier side..! I love sharing the knowledge I’ve picked up along the way – trying to lower the barrier to entry for other pilots. And I equally love pushing other pilots in our crew to level up their flying games too – and make no apologies for any breakages that may follow!
Opie_FPV
Hello! I'm Juan aka “Opie_FPV”. I began building and flying FPV drones in 2019. I really enjoy this hobby as it has taking me to many awesome locations and has also allowed me to meet really cool people along the way.
My goal?To get better at freestyle flying and learn more technical tricks. When I’m not flying, I’m usually repairing and getting quads ready for the next bando.
RaceBand7
I started my FPV Journey in height of COVID. Started with all analog gear then quickly became a HDZero fan boy. More recently came over to the dark side and started flying with DJI gear. Enjoy flying and building 5 inch freestyle, sub 250, and whoops.
Mape!
Mape! has been flying FPV since 2023 and is just as happy building quads as he is crashing them. A Jersey native, he’s always scouting out cool new spots to rip—sometimes legal, sometimes questionable. Most importantly, he never misses a chance to hang with the crew and stir up some laughs along the way.
JasonFPV
Here's the guy that started the whole thing! Loves to fly, building... not so much! When not flying FPV, Jason is also the hyperlapse king! Did someone mention trains?
