Rampage Lipo Management

Let’s face it: Rampage isn’t the same if you’re not in the air! Nothing kills the moment faster than running out of juice when everyone else is still ripping packs. Here’s the simple game plan for managing your Lipos on the road trip and throughout the weekend.

Pack Count
Bring at least 10–12 Lipos if you can swing it. That number will get you through a full morning session without begging your neighbor for a loaner or pulling out the dreaded “one pack left” excuse before lunch.

Charging Strategy
The trick is timing. Charge all your packs the night before at the hotel so you start each day at 100%. Then fly hard in the morning—especially on Thursday and Friday when the flight lines are wide open and the crowds haven’t fully rolled in yet. By lunchtime, you’ll probably have burned through 8–10 packs. That’s where our Mission Control Base Camp comes in clutch: we’ll have some Bluetti power stations set up and ready to share so you can recharge while your packs recharge (yes, that means sandwiches and batteries). There will also be power in the build room, but I wouldn't leave anything unattended.

Weekend Flow
Thursday and Friday are going to be the heavy flying days before Rampage hits full throttle around 2 p.m. Friday. Saturday and Sunday still offer plenty of stick time, but expect less airtime than those first two days. Stick to the same rhythm—charge overnight, rip packs in the morning, top up at lunch—and you’ll stay powered up all weekend.

Discharging Tip
Not every pack makes it into the sky, and nobody wants to head home with a stack of fully charged Lipos. RupesF and I will both have ISD Dischargers on hand, so if you’ve got unused packs at the end of the day, swing by and we’ll help bring them back down to safe storage levels. Better safe than puffy.

Final Thoughts

Rampage is a blast and no need to stress….. Manage your packs smartly, share the charging stations and don’t forget to discharge what you don’t use. Mission Control is there to keep everyone in the air and to laugh about the days events!!
